- At the end of the Brandnertal take the Lünerseebahn up to the Douglasshütte by the lake's dam.
- From the hut go right towards the Schesaplana along the lakeshore to the Lünersee Alpe.
- From the pasture the path leads to a viewpoint above the lake and then down to the dam.
- Cross the dam back to the Douglasshütte and the top station. The loop is 6 km and, according to Montafon, takes 2 hours.

For families
The loop has only about 100 m of height difference, so it suits children too.
Go in the morning
The Lünerseebahn is very busy in summer. Arrive early in the morning to avoid queuing.
