How we grade the trips
Difficulty and “who for” are two different things. A pushchair walk and a gentle route for seniors are not the same, so we give both for every trip.
- Stroll Flat, wide path that anyone can manage.
- Easy Blue trail: wide paths, gentle climbs.
- Moderate Red mountain trail: narrow path, steep in places, needs sure footing.
- Hard Black trail: long hike with a lot of climbing and demanding terrain in places.
The colours follow Austrian trail markings (blue, red, black). We calculate length and elevation from the route on the Mapy.com hiking map and take walking time from the official description. Trips are available for selected destinations so far, with more on the way.
