- The Kanzelbahn gondola takes you in 10 minutes from Lake Ossiach (550 m) up to the Kanzelhöhe at 1,440 m.
- From the top station walk along the tarmac road, or through forest and meadow, to the Kanzelhöhe. A gravel path climbs to the highest point of the loop.
- A surfaced path leads back past the reservoir to the top station.

Is the lift free with the Kärnten Card?
Yes. Included with the Kärnten Card: Kanzelbahn up and down (off-peak; dearer in July and August). Without the card it costs €31.50 per adult and €18 per child (child fare), so a family of 2 + 2 saves €99.
