Route description

  1. The Komperdellbahn and the Lazidbahn take you up to the Lazid, where the hike starts.
  2. The path climbs into the Tieftal valley to the Tieftalsee at 2,783 m.
  3. From the lake continue over stony terrain to the summit of the Furgler (3,004 m).
  4. Return to the Lazid the same way. Allow 3.5 to 4 hours of walking and about 720 m of climbing.

Good to know

Only in settled weather

Above 3,000 m the weather changes fast. Bring a warm jacket, gloves and plenty of water.

Back via the Furglersee

Experienced hikers can descend via the Furglersee to the Kölner Haus.
