- From Mürren the Allmendhubelbahn funicular takes you up to the Allmendhubel in four minutes.
- At the top station are the Panorama Restaurant and the Flower Park adventure playground. The Flower Trail carries on from there.
- The loop follows a wide path around the Allmendhubel and takes about 20 minutes. Boards explain mountain flowers, pastures and herbs in a playful way. Over 150 species bloom here, from gentians to edelweiss.

According to the operator the Flower Trail is suitable for pushchairs.
For a longer outing
The Northface Trail also starts at the Allmendhubel, running via the Schiltalp and Blumental back to Mürren.
With the card
The Berner Oberland Pass covers lifts, trains, buses and boats in the region without limit. You reach Mürren by train and cable car from Lauterbrunnen via Grütschalp.

Is the lift free with the Berner Oberland Pass?
Yes. Included with the Berner Oberland Pass: Mürren – Allmendhubel funicular up and down. Without the card it costs 16 CHF per adult and 8 CHF per child (children aged 6–15, younger free), so a family of 2 + 2 saves 48 CHF.
