| Validity | Adult | Child |

| 1 week | €69 | €37 |
| 2 weeks | €86 | €45 |
| 5 weeks | €93 | €49 |
These prices apply to the high season from 7 June to 12 September 2026. Before and after it the card is cheaper: 1 week €64 / €33, 2 weeks €78 / €41, 5 weeks €90 / €47.
- The child price applies to children born 2011–2019; younger children are free.

A family of four (children aged 8 and 11) pays €212 for a week in high season; with two adults and children aged 4 and 9 it is €175.
How long the Kärnten Card is valid
The summer card is valid from 4 April to 1 November 2026. A weekly card runs for seven consecutive days from its first use and cannot be split into individual days. If you are going for 10 days, take the two-week card: it costs only €17 more than the weekly one.
What’s included
Cable cars
On many summer cable cars you get one ride up and down a day. According to a press release from the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce, these include:
- Gerlitzen Alpe (Kanzelbahn),
- Goldeck near Spittal,
- Bad Kleinkirchheim,
- Katschberg and Turracher Höhe,
- Hochgebirgsbahnen Ankogel in Mallnitz,
- Dreiländereck near Arnoldstein,
- Heiligenblut (Schareck) and the Mölltal Glacier,
- Petzen.
At Nassfeld, the summer toboggan run at Klippitztörl and on the Weissensee the card only gives you a discount. The Gerlitzen summit cable car was out of service in summer 2026 because it is being rebuilt.
Lakes, roads and other destinations
The Kärnten Card combines mountains with lakes: lake boats, panoramic roads, swimming pools, museums and zoos are included. A full list of destinations with a map is on kaerntencard.at.
Who the Kärnten Card pays off for
- Day-trippers with a car who drive between lakes and mountains all over Carinthia.
- Longer stays: the five-week card costs €93, just €24 more than the weekly card.
- Families: €212 a week for a family of four is among the lowest prices for bought cards in our comparison.
It is less suited to anyone who wants to ride the same mountain all the time. You get cable cars once a day, and regional cards with unlimited cable cars in Salzburg or Tyrol are better for that kind of stay.
Summary
The Kärnten Card is cheap and broad: one card for cable cars, boats and roads across Carinthia. Buy it for a week, or for two weeks if you are staying longer. You can work out the price for your group on the card page; more cards nearby are in the Carinthia and Salzburg regions.
