Short answer: the Snow Card Tirol is a season pass for over 90 ski areas in Tyrol. In presale until 31 Oct 2026 it costs €1,080 for adults, €658 for youth and €367 for children; from 1 Nov 2026 it is €1,227, €982 and €613. For adults it pays off from about 13–14 ski days in Tyrol per winter. For a single ski week it never pays off.

Where it is valid

The Snow Card Tirol is valid from 1 Oct 2026 to 15 May 2027 in over 90 ski areas: more than 1,000 lifts, 4,000 km of slopes and five glaciers. From the areas in our ski pass price index this includes:

It is not valid outside Tyrol, so not in Ski amadé, Saalbach or Zell am See. For those there is the SuperSkiCard.

Exceptions: in Ischgl it is not valid on concert days, on the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn only for the ride up and down, and not at all on the Hungerburgbahn in Innsbruck. At the Gurgl Ski World Cup (21 and 22 Nov 2026) there is a €34 surcharge (children and youth €20).

Prices 2026/27

Presale 26 Sep – 31 Oct 2026 From 1 Nov 2026
Adult €1,080 €1,227
Youth (born 2008–2010) €658 €982
Child (born 2011–2020) €367 €613
People with disabilities from 60% €658 €982

Children born 2021 or later do not need a card; they ski free. Add €2 for the keycard. There is no family discount.

From how many days it pays off

Compared with high-season ticket office prices in Tyrolean areas from our index:

Who Snow Card in presale Day pass Pays off from about
Adult €1,080 €79.50 (SkiWelt) – €86.50 (Sölden) 13–14 days
Youth €658 €59.50 (SkiWelt) 11 days
Child €367 €40 (SkiWelt) 9–10 days

Multi-day passes tell a similar story: an adult 6-day pass in Tyrol costs €355 (Stubaier Gletscher) to €478.50 (Sölden). The presale Snow Card Tirol therefore equals two to three ski weeks. After 31 October you need two or three more days.

It pays off if you:

  • ski several weekends or weeks in Tyrol each winter,
  • have school-age children: the presale child card costs less than two 6-day child passes,
  • want to ski glaciers in October and the end of the season in April and May.

It does not pay off if you ski one week or alternate Tyrol with Salzburg. For a single week, compare normal passes in the calculator.

Buying it

The Snow Card Tirol is not sold online; you buy it at the ticket office of a participating ski area. The photo is taken on site, and child and youth cards need photo ID.

Most Tyrolean guest cards do not make the ski pass cheaper (Ischgl and Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis are the exceptions), but they add free ski buses and other benefits. See Wintercard vs Sommercard for an overview.
